Christmas Edition - Dec 20 2008

Christmas is upon us and many people in the real estate business will not be working for the rest of the year. I know I enjoy taking the time off to spend with my family for the holidays, and this is the best time since it is also the slowest for the market.

Coming on the January 1st Edition, I will have some great tools for you which you can acquire very cheaply or free that will help you in your business. This newsletter is going to really start kicking into overdrive in 2008 so I ask, and urge, you to tell your friends about it so they can sign up if they are interested. I will be working on some creative deals for our readers and the higher our readership the better deals we can acquire.

All that being said, take this edition and just have some fun with it. I have researched a few “toys” for you to play with this Christmas Season!

Caricatures

You ever seen those goofy little caricatures that people use as avatars and on their business cards? Ever wanted one of your own but was just to cheap to pay someone the $30 - $50 to make you one? Well, now you don’t have to.

Cartoonist is a neat little program that will take any photo you load into it and very easily create a real-photo looking caricature. If you know how to use a mouse and read, you should very easily be able to make some interesting photos with this program. You can download the program off their website and instantly be making some cute photos - I made my 9-month old baby girl look like an elf in a matter of minutes after downloading and installing the program.

Like to play games?

Zodoo is a new game portal which we have been advertising in our side bar advertising resources for a couple of issues now. On the site, you can play games such as Slingo, Slot Machines, Poker, and other games such as Missile Command (I dominated this game on the Atari), Skeeball, and Pinball.

There really are games that suit most people and the best part of the site is that it is free. Advertising supports the site completely, and unlike other sites, the ads are only on the main site - not in the game, so you do not have to wait 15-30 seconds to look at an advertisement while the game loads.

The best part about Zodoo though is that there are competitions (tournaments) that allow the players to compete for cash prizes. No drawings or anything like that - you simply have the high score when the tournament ends and you win the money. Congratulations to ‘Alie’ on the last tournament who won $25 for getting a high score in Skeeball which I tried to beat but was not successful.
