This newsletter is going to focus on some resources online that can you can utilize to generate more business. These resources are all free (except for my shameless plugs) :). For many agents, it has been very slow so I have done what I could to find things that would not cost you anything.

Blogging Resources

ActiveRain is a great resource for real estate related blogs. While you do not own the blog since it is a hosted solution and customization is next to nothing, it is a very large, and growing community of bloggers so having a blog on here can help your exposure. The main plus of ActiveRain over something like Wordpress.com or BlogSpot is that there is not a very large learning curve at all and it is primarily revolved around Real Estate - which helps its overall rankings in the weighted search engines (such as Google).

If you already have a blog that provides an RSS or Atom feed (syndication), you can have that feed automatically pulled over to IReference.org. By having your content pulled to a power site like this, you will help increase your exposure and quality backlinks. This site is fairly new, but we expect to have a PR6 or PR7 site within a few months so all the agents we are syndicating could see some dramatic increases in their traffic over the coming months. The IReference.org syndicated blog is only about a week old and already has roughly 500 indexed pages in Google. Check it out and send a message through the site to have your content syndicated. It is easy, fill out a 30 second form and your content could be syndicated within hours! (This blog was shut down and is no longer available)
